Lesson One in Sailor Moon Crossover Writing

Lesson One: Be Brief!

We were going to start you guys off with a bit of a challenge, but we’ll leave that for for later. For now we’ll make this first one easy. All you have to be able to do is be brief. People can lose interest quickly and we would hate for that to happen here. For the new, create a name for yourself! For the oldies, remind people who you are!

Sounds pretty simple right? Write a short-story, boom, done! Not quite… There’s some rules we’ll need you to follow

Rule #1. We want new content, so the story has to be new and unposted. It must be written during March 2016.

Rule #2. While this is a one-shot you’re still expected to give us a plot and a story to go through. Every story must have a beginning, middle, and end. If you finish and your story doesn’t have these components, we can’t qualify it.

Rule #3. This is where brief comes in… Your completed story must be under 7,500 words total. We won’t count author notes against you for this, so use every word wisely.

That’s all the rules! Have fun guys! Give us a Sailor Moon crossover in any genre as long as it has an actual story that has a beginning, middle, and end, and clocks in at 7.5k words or less.
